Manila, 10 May 2021 – Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, has now opened the order books for those who want to purchase the Subaru Evoltis (also known as the Subaru Ascent in the US), the biggest vehicle in the line-up, and the largest Subaru ever made. The Philippines will be the only market in the Motor Image Group in Asia to offer the model, which is made in the United States.

Performance and Safety

Powered by the new FA24, 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer Engine, which generates 260 horsepower and 375Nm of torque, the 3-row SUV is packed with enough grunt to pull the entire family, and perhaps an additional trailer, to destinations that other SUVs would have difficulty reaching. It also has exceptional ground clearance (220mm) which will enable it to breeze through most floods.

It comes with all of Subaru’s core technologies, built on the Subaru Global Platform, featuring Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard. It is the only car in its class with a stereo-camera based safety system, the EyeSight system, and has high-tech Driver Assist safety technologies usually found more in luxury European brands. It promises a safe, solid, responsive and secure ride.

Space and Comfort

The Evoltis stands out with its high-quality cabin, and promises true comfort with a 2-2-3 layout, where the 2nd row is equipped with Captain seats, ensuring maximum ride enjoyment. With over 4,700 litres of cabin space, it has a more spacious interior than other premium SUVs and is more comfortable.

Then there is the attention to detail, like the 14-speaker, 792-watt Harman/Kardon sound system, Front View Monitor, Smart Rear View Mirror, panoramic moonroof, multiple USB ports and 12V power outlets, and 19 cupholders, which make it seem more luxe than premium.

The Evoltis will also be the only Subaru model to be available in a new color – Abyss Blue Pearl.

Only one variant will be available in the Philippine Market, the Evoltis Touring EyeSight, and it will retail for Php 3,480,000.
