Singapore, 9 January 2020 – Motor Image, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Singapore, is showcasing the new Subaru Impreza at the Singapore Motorshow 2020. The Impreza, updated for 2020, boasts several enhancements – both aesthetic and under the skin.
Revisions to the exterior of the Impreza include new LED headlamps; a new front grille; a new front bumper and fog lamps, with the lower grille stretching the entire width of the front bumper to the fog lamps; blacked-out tail lamps (on 5-Door hatchback); new 17-inch wheels and a new Magnetite Grey paint colour that replaces Dark Grey.
On the inside, the new Impreza gets new high-quality stitching on the hood of its Multi-function Display and a new gloss black air-conditioning panel. Several convenience features have also been added for an all-around improved driving experience.
The upgraded equipment package consists of a Front View Monitor for easier forward parking; a Speed-sensitive Door Lock feature, which automatically locks the doors when the vehicle reaches a speed of 20km/h; a Rear Seat Reminder feature, which alerts the driver to check the rear seats before exiting the vehicle; and reverse-linked tilt-down passenger-side door mirror, which automatically dips when in reverse gear for easier reverse parking.
Customers can also look forward to an improved driving experience in the new Impreza with the addition of Subaru’s SI-DRIVE powertrain performance management system (Sport mode and Intelligent mode) and retuned suspension.
As before, the new Impreza is underpinned by the four hallmark Subaru Core Technologies, which contribute towards optimised handling, maximum comfort and enhanced safety for all on board. The four Subaru Core Technologies are: Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Boxer Engine, Subaru Global Platform and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.
