SINGAPORE, 8 January 2026 – Motor Image Enterprises (MIE), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Singapore, is set to electrify the Singapore Motorshow 2026. Grounded in the enduring brand manifesto “One Life. One Subaru.”, MIE is accelerating its journey toward a customer-centric future with the official launch of the high-performance Solterra XT, the first-ever public preview of the e-Outback and the debut of the Forester 2.5 Strong Hybrid Sport Edition.
As Subaru enters the electric age, the brand remains committed to its foundational pillars of unmatched reliability and "Japanese Premium” engineering. Built on the e-SUBARU GLOBAL PLATFORM, the Solterra XT features a high-rigidity frame and a low centre of gravity for superior stability. A new 342PS dual motor powertrain delivers thrilling, instant torque, launching the vehicle from 0–100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. Performance is managed by torque-vectoring Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) and dual-function X-MODE (with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes), ensuring confident passage on both pavement and rough trails.
The Solterra XT is distinguished by its sleeker look, featuring unique black-colour fenders that emphasize its rugged SUV heritage. It maintains a genuine SUV profile with a best-in-class 211mm ground clearance. The exterior is further enhanced by 20-inch aluminium-alloy wheels, a panoramic roof, and a roof spoiler that balances aesthetics with aerodynamic efficiency.

The cockpit embodies visibility and simplicity, featuring a top-mounted 7-inch TFT LCD meter positioned above an oval steering wheel to minimize eye movement. A new 14-inch centre touchscreen display serves as the hub for navigation and entertainment, complemented by a 10-speaker Harman/Kardon premium audio system. The spacious cabin offers a sanctuary for its passengers with leatherette seats, 10-way power adjustment for the driver, and a panoramic roof that provides an expansive view of the sky.

Pre-Collision System (PCS): Actively monitors the road to prevent or mitigate the severity of frontal collisions.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC): Maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead during highway driving.
Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) & Lane Departure Alert (LDA): Keeps the vehicle centred and alerts the driver to unintentional lane drifts.
Safe Exit Assist (SEA): Uses rear radar to detect approaching vehicles or bicycles when stationary, warning occupants before they open their doors.
Parking Support Brake (PKSB): Detects pedestrians when reversing and automatically applies the brakes if a collision is imminent.
Marking a historic milestone, the e-Outback makes its debut at the Singapore Motorshow as the first public preview in Asia outside of Japan. As the ultimate expression of Subaru’s “Japan Premium” engineering, this premier flagship represents the peak of Subaru’s electric transition. The e-Outback features an exclusive, high-output 381PS dual-motor AWD system, making it the most powerful Subaru ever. This powertrain delivers effortless acceleration, achieving 0–100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds for decisive highway merging and a supremely stable ride. True to its name, it offers over 210mm of ground clearance and Symmetrical AWD (SAWD) for refined All-Condition Confidence, whether navigating monsoon rains or exploring regional destinations.
